Burning Instructions
Each candle includes a care card with candle care & lighting instructions as well as instructions how to safely burn your candle on the bottom label. Candles add a fragrant enhancement to living and work spaces and are safe to enjoy, but we encourage care and attention to the following guidelines:
- Prior to lighting, remove the tag and any decorations on the candle.
- To extend burning time, always trim the wick to a length of 1/4".
- Ensure the candle remains free of any foreign materials, such as matches and wick trimmings.
- When not in use, store your candle away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
-Burn candles only in well-ventilated rooms and on level, heat-resistant surface that will collect any wax as drips are expected.
- Do not leave a burning candle unattended.
- Avoid drafts, vents, ceiling fans or other moving air pathways to encourage even burning and minimize smoke or a flickering wick.
- Never touch a burning candle or move a candle when the wax is liquid.
- Never extinguish candles with water.
- Make sure a candle is completely extinguished before leaving the room.
- Keep candles out of the reach of small children and pets.
- Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
- To maintain candle integrity, avoid burning sculptural candles for more than 2 hours at a time.
-To prevent possible heat damage on the candle holder or tray that you are using, discontinue using the candle when there is only 1/4” of wax left.
